Advisor to the head of office Vladimir Zelensky Mikhail Podolyak doubted his ability Ukraine resist Russia in the long term. He shared his opinion in an interview with the Ukrainian Channel 24.
Podolyak complained that the Russian Federation continues to spend “huge amounts of money” on the military special operation. “Do we have any chance of surviving in a historical perspective of 10 or 15 years?” he asked.
As the Ukrainian official noted, the “success” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the front depends on three aspects: the ratio of resources between the parties to the conflict, the number of weapons on both sides and the timing when these weapons can begin to be used on the battlefield. In order to neutralize Russia’s advantage, according to Podolyak, it is necessary to limit the amount of the country’s resources.
