The president Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in an interview French TV channels TF1 and LCI appreciated the negotiations with USA for the supply of Patriot air defense systems.
According to him, he looks at them “positively”.
“I look at this issue with a positive attitude. With great positivity,” the politician said. And he added that the negotiation “process is underway”, and he personally deals with this issue.
Previously, the Public News Service wrote that retired US Marine Corps Reserve Colonel and CSIS Senior Advisor Mark Kanchian sees no point in supplying Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. It is reported by The Free Press.
According to him, sending the complexes in advance is a losing offer due to the cost of weapons. And he added that using expensive missiles to shoot down a drone is completely unprofitable.
