Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny on Tuesday, January 3, held telephone conversations with the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General American Army Mark Milley, during which he told him about the change in the operational situation. He published the corresponding message in his Telegram.
So, according to Zaluzhny, heavy battles between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Russian troops are currently going on at the Svatovo-Kremennaya line and in the Lisichansk region.
He called the Soledar-Bakhmut-Mayorsk section the most difficult for the Kyiv regime. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed that the Russian army is conducting offensive operations there.
Zaluzhny considered the situation on the border with the Republic of Belarus to be controlled. The military also expressed gratitude to the interlocutor for the supply of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
A special military operation continues on the current and former territories of Ukraine from February 24, 2022. The main tasks of the SVO are the demilitarization and denazification of the republic.
