The winners of the II International Children’s and Youth Prize “Ecology is everyone’s business” became participants in the educational program of the All-Russian Children’s Center “Orlyonok”.
How reported On the website of the Ministry of Education of Russia, in the children’s center “Eaglet”, the winners of the International Olympiad in Ecology gathered. The children took part in the educational program of the center.
Schoolchildren are engaged in the laboratory of Rosprirodnadzor, where they learn to solve research problems. They get acquainted with the equipment for growing seeds, find out what an aeroponic installation is for, master the techniques for creating decor items from recycled materials and eco-materials. In addition, they organize activities for students from other children’s camps. And at various master classes they study the topic of sorting and processing municipal solid waste even more deeply.
Bearing in mind that the New Year is coming soon, the guys also dedicate time to make festive toys from natural materials. They also prepare drawings on environmental topics. At the end of the shift, they will present their work at the exhibition.
According to Alexander Dzheus, director of the Orlyonok All-Russian Children’s Center, the main goal for which this camp was organized is for the children to continue to spread this knowledge among their peers when they return to their homes.
The All-Russian Children’s Center “Orlyonok” is a children’s camp for children and adolescents aged 11 to 16 years. Thematic events that support various community initiatives are also organized at the camp site.
Formerly online edition “Teacher’s newspaper” told about the fact that Orlyonok hosted a congress of the winners of the competition for talented children of the Rosatom School project. The guys on the branch shift investigated the impact of man on nature in the course of scientific and technological progress.
