On Wednesday, December 14, the State Duma signed four laws – three in the first reading and one in the second. “Paper” tells what initiatives officials have approved.
On first reading:
🟢 Bill life imprisonment for sabotage. Officials propose to supplement the Criminal Code with new articles providing for responsibility for “assistance, involvement, calls and inducement to commit acts of sabotage, as well as for their financing.”
In addition, “learning to commit acts of sabotage and the creation of criminal communities to commit sabotage” will become a crime.
Life imprisonment is also provided for the creation of a sabotage community. For participation, he will face up to 10 years in prison, and for “complicity in committing sabotage” – from 10 to 20 years.
The authors of the law believe that their initiative is aimed “to protect” Russia and citizens “from terrorist and sabotage threats.”
🟢 Bill on the procedure for paying pensions to former servicemen who decided to resume service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and other military formations during counter-terrorism and other operations outside Russia.
If an employee’s position has not changed during work, then the pension will not change either. If it is increased, then the payment will also increase.
🟢 Bill on the peculiarities of taxation in the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russia – the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
The document is necessary in order to create regional tax legislation in these territories.
🟢 Billwhich will consolidate the status of the St. George ribbon as one of the symbols of the military glory of Russia and the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
For public desecration of the St. George ribbon will face criminal liability in the form of imprisonment for up to five years or an administrative fine in the form of a fine of up to 5 million rubles. Also, the tape can be used for the purposes prescribed by the authorities.
