Vicente Fernandez, the Mexican artist whose illustrious career as “king of the rancheras” spanned decades in music, film and television, has died at age 81, family members reported.

This year, Fernández was hospitalized after suffering a fall on his ranch. He also faced the posting of photos that appeared to show him touching women without their consent while posing with them. He was also accused of sexual abuse by the singer Lupita castro. Fernández denied any inappropriate behavior.

Fernández, whose internationally acclaimed hits include “The king“,”Return Return” Y “Women so divine“, He has sold more than 65 million albums and filmed more than 35 movies.
