The West will not be able to isolate Russia from the rest of the world. This country is too important for the global economy. The American security expert Robert Farley is convinced of this in the material for the publication 19Fortyfive, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, despite all Western sanctions, Russia’s economy has not succumbed. It also failed to cut off the export of energy resources from the Russian Federation, as well as to push through the military-industrial complex of the state.

The columnist emphasized that the restrictions introduced only disrupted global supply chains and provoked inflation around the world. Farley also noted that in the future, such financial pressure on Russia or China could turn into a real danger for America and its allies.

As previously reported, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former US Secretary General Henry Kissinger expressed very similar ideas about the confrontation between Russia and Ukraine. They think it is Crimea will become a bargaining chip on the way to negotiations between the two countries.
