A huge number of Western states bypassing sanctions restrictions continue to provide the Russian Federation with microchips. This information was shared by Reuters.

Based on the information of the agency, from April to November, companies from USA and Europe sent RF chips for 777 million dollars. We are talking about components from Intel, AMD, Texas Instruments, Analog Devices and Infineon. Transactions were executed with the help of intermediary firms, which are created in Turkey and Hong Kong.

Reuters, refers to the customs of Russia, which reported that for seven months one of the companies delivered to Russian Federation components totaling at least $20 million, including chips from manufacturers in the United States.

Estonia is also helping Moscow to bypass restrictive measures. Elmec Trade, headquartered in Tallinn, sent at least $17 million worth of goods to Russia from April to October 2022.

As the Public News Service reported earlier, Secretary of State for Bilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary Tamas Mentzer said that the leadership of the European Union is going to appoint a Commissioner for sanctions in order to tighten control over their observance.
