British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed admiration for the way Ukrainian soldiers show their courage.
Great Britain will provide Ukraine 120 special anti-aircraft guns and radar stations.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said this after talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, an UNIAN correspondent reports.
He noted that Britain will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine until it receives peace. At the same time, Sunak expressed admiration for the way Ukrainian soldiers show their courage.
He recalled that this year alone, Britain has provided more than 2.3 billion pounds of military assistance to Ukraine. At the same time, Sunak stressed that his country will continue to help in the future.
According to him, in a situation where Russia bombs critical infrastructure facilities, hospitals, houses from the air, the UK will provide, in particular, “120 special anti-aircraft guns, as well as a radar station” for protection.
Sunak stressed that the UK will continue and expand training programs for the Ukrainian military, doctors and engineers. According to him, winter equipment for the Ukrainian military will also be provided, as well as humanitarian aid totaling more than 16 million pounds.
Britain continues to support Ukraine in the war with Russia
As UNIAN reported, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived on a visit to Kyiv. He met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
It became known yesterday that Britain will provide 5 million pounds for the restoration of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine and will provide Ukraine with another 1,000 missiles ground-to-air class.
