USA sent Ukraine the first batch of equipment that the country needs to restore its energy system. This was published by Reuters. Journalists referred to the words of representatives of the American administration.
As his interlocutors told the agency, power equipment was included in the aid package, the total cost of which amounted to about $13 million.
Earlier, the Public News Service reported that US President Joseph Biden, as part of a telephone conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky promised transfer to Kyiv modern air defense systems (air defense).
It was within the framework of this conversation that the States committed themselves to helping Ukraine restore its energy system.
It was also reported that Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the leaders of the G7 states with request to increase gas supplies. He said that due to problems in the operation of power plants, the country needs more gas.
