Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said that the American side found no evidence of the use of Western military assistance by the Kyiv regime for illegal purposes.
During the briefing, continuing to talk about the supply of weapons to UkraineRyder spoke as follows:
“At the moment, we have no information, credible information that would indicate any diversion of Ukrainian aid to illegal purposes. And I think the results on the battlefield speak for themselves.”
It should be noted that according to the Pentagon, Washington sent inspectors to Ukraine to control the targeted use of weapons and ammunition transferred to Kyiv.
As the Public News Service reported earlier, analysts Bloomberg publications called the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian airfields “a new and dangerous round of the conflict”, suggesting that NATO “will try to calm Kyiv.”
According to the forecasts of the American publication, the West will try to force Kyiv to refrain from such attacks in the hope of reducing the risk of a conflict developing into direct NATO intervention.
