American studio Universal Pictures has begun development of a new film in the Jason Bourne franchise. About it writes Deadline, citing industry sources.
According to available data, the project is still at the very early stages of creation, since at the moment there is not even a script for the upcoming film. It is noted that the director of the film may be Edward Berger, known for the war drama All Quiet on the Western Front. It is also known that the producers of the sequel to the spy film franchise will try to reach an agreement with the performer of the role of Bourne, an American actor Matt Damon.
Previously film director and producer Catherine Hardwicke revealed casting details for the film “Twilight”. She said that at first she did not want to take the British actor Robert Pattinson for the role of Edward Cullen due to his shabby appearance. After the audition, the producers called her and asked if she could make him transform.
