According to bourgas.ru, about a hundred Ukrainian refugees, mostly mothers and small children, gathered on Troika Square. Today they all prayed for the victims of the war in Burgas.

They chose May 8 to honor the memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the victims of the war in their homeland.

“I am here because I am against this aggression. God does not approve of the killing of innocent people, said the priest, Father Michal.

Most of those present today arrived in Bulgaria in recent weeks and are direct witnesses of what is happening in Ukraine now. Many children and their mothers could not hold back their tears.

7-year-old Katya from Odessa cried almost all the time, while her compatriots talked about missing and murdered relatives.

“We try to go to these rallies because we meet people like us here and we don’t feel abandoned. Here we are among our own, we are all in the same situation, we have all lost a lot and live in the unknown,” said Katya’s mother, Maria.
