Yesterday, May 11, the village of Solokhi in the Belgorod region was shelled from the Ukrainian side. Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin instructed to record and investigate this fact. All the circumstances of the incident will be established, as well as the Ukrainian security forces involved in the crime.
According to the Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov on his telegram channel, one person was killed as a result of the shelling. Another seven, including a 14-year-old boy, received injuries of varying severity. Now they are receiving qualified medical care, they have medicines in full. Also, financial assistance will be provided to all the victims and the family of the deceased.
This morning, May 12, experts left for the village of Solonikhi to assess the extent of damage to residential buildings. So far, it is known that 17 households and 6 cars were damaged as a result of the shelling. Windows were also shattered at a school, a post office and a store. The house walk continues.
- We will restore everything as soon as possible. There are funds, a contractor has been found. We’ll start work tomorrow. The disrupted gas supply in the village has already been restored,” Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his telegram channel.
