Former army general U.S.A Mark Hertling said that the Ukrainian military will not be able to use the Patriot air defense system immediately after receiving it, since it will take months to master the operation and maintenance of the “patriots”.
The day before, CNN, citing sources, reported that this week Washington could announce the transfer of the Patriot air defense system to the Kyiv regime.
On his Twitter account, Hertling posted a post saying the following:
“Breaking News” – The Pentagon is about to confirm the dispatch of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. If secret training has not been conducted for several months, “approval” does not mean that the complexes will immediately appear on the battlefield.
AT Pentagon also commented on the information that the United States could supply Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Kyiv. The representative of the defense department indicated that he had “nothing to report” about the transfer of complexes to Ukraine.
As the Public News Service reported earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov shared during a broadcast on the CNN television channel that the Kiev regime would like to receive anti-aircraft missile systems from the allies “at the next stage” Patriot.
