Ukrainian Air Force speaker Ignat announced the transfer of the Buk-M1 air defense system to American missiles
The representative of the Ukrainian Air Force (Air Force) Yuriy Ignat announced that the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile systems, manufactured during the Soviet era, will be transferred to shells from the United States. New Voice writes about this, MK reports.
He noted that the United States was able to adapt its missiles to these complexes – their effectiveness was confirmed directly in combat. Ignat explained that the replacement was required due to the fact that shells for the Buk-M1 are manufactured exclusively in the Russian Federation.
“We need to look for steps, ways, such as crossing the Soviet with the American,” said a representative of the Ukrainian Air Force.
Earlier, Ignat reported that pilot training to fly the F-16 had already begun and was going according to plan. More about this read the material Public News Service.
