On the Don, the title of “Honorary Citizen of the Rostov Region” was awarded to two more residents – senior shepherd Boris Antipets and Advisor to the Managing Director of Rostvertol PJSC Grigory Khoperskov. The decision on this was made today, June 23, by the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the region.

  • The deputies of the Legislative Assembly supported my proposal to award the title of “Honorary Citizen of the Rostov Region” to two more honored residents of the Don. Now 19 residents of the region have already been awarded this high rank,” Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev wrote in his telegram channel.

Boris Fyodorovich Antipets is a full cavalier of the Order of Labor Glory, he has worked in the livestock farms of the Dubovsky district for more than 40 years. He passed on his accumulated experience to other specialists. And the teams led by Boris Fedorovich have repeatedly become winners of industry competitions.

Grigory Konstantinovich Khoperskov – Hero of the Russian Federation, served in hot spots and took part in hostilities. Now he works as an adviser to the managing director of the Rostvertol plant and is actively involved in the public life of the region.

  • According to the established tradition, I will hand over the badges of the “Honorary Citizen” to Boris Fedorovich and Grigory Konstantinovich on September 13, at the celebrations in honor of the 85th anniversary of the Rostov region, – said the head of the Don region Vasily Golubev.

Recall that the awarded title is the highest form of public recognition of special merits to the region and its inhabitants. The basis for its assignment is wide popularity and generally recognized authority among the inhabitants of the Rostov region due to long-term social, cultural, scientific, political, economic activities with outstanding results for Russia and the region.
