ex-head U.S.A Donald Trump nominated for the post of speaker of the lower house of the US Congress after ten unsuccessful elections.

The candidacy of the former American leader was proposed by the representative of the Republican Party Matt Goetz, who had already voted for Trump during the seventh attempt to elect the speaker. That round ended with one vote in favor of the former owner of the White House. Trump is not a member of the House, but he does not gain the required number of votes, so he will not become speaker.

This is the eleventh attempt to elect the speaker of the lower house of the United States Congress. Republican Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has failed to get the 218 votes required to win for three days. Donald Trump has also recently called for a vote for McCarthy.

Earlier, Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov commented on another attempt to elect the speaker of the lower house of the US Congress. According to him, the system of government in the United States of America is increasingly faltering. More on the topic read in material Public news service.
