Traditionally, cars with an average price of 500 thousand rubles were considered representatives of the budget class in the secondary market, but in modern realities the price threshold has increased to a million rubles, said Maxim Solodovnik, director of the used cars department at the FRESH automobile marketplace. In a conversation with Lenta.ru, he named the top most budget used cars.
Among domestic models, the auto expert highlighted the entire model range AvtoVAZ: Lada 2114, Lada 2107, Lada 2109, Lada Priora, LADA 2190 Granta, Lada Niva. According to him, you can purchase these cars by spending up to 700 thousand rubles. For example, a 2012 LADA Granta can be found for 549 thousand rubles, a 2016 LADA 2121 (4×4) for 599 thousand rubles.
Among the relatively new foreign cars, Solodovnik noted Volkswagen Polo, Kia Rio, Hyundai Solaris, Ford Focus, Opel Astra, Honda Civic, Renault Megane and right-hand drive compact cars from Nissan and Toyota. “For example, a 2010 Kia Rio can be purchased for 899 thousand rubles, a 2010 Nissan Note for 969 thousand rubles. The small engine capacity and not the highest power of the listed cars allows you to significantly save on fuel, which is considered one of the main cost items for car maintenance. Thus, the liquidity of these cars has remained high for several years,” added the Lenta.ru interlocutor.
Previously, analysts studied the announcements and found outthat in October the average price for used cars under 15 years old increased by 2.3 percent, exceeding 2 million rubles.
