Tom Holland confesses that he thought about not appearing in Spider-man 4 to give the character to another actor

The popular British actor Tom Holland confessed in a recent interview that he thought about not appearing in the next installment of his leading character in Spider-man 4. His intention lay in the possibility of giving the character to another young actor, who had the same opportunity he had.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter program, Tom Holland confessed that he felt “a little apprehensive about appearing in Spider-man 4 and that a part of him considered not participating in the future tape because he left the very high bar with the third installment of the saga.
As we all know, the filming of the fourth installment of the British actor’s Spider-man is on hold due to the huge writers’ strike in Hollywood. However, Marvel’s plans are still intact, so they will start producing it as soon as the writers’ strike ends.
“There is a bit of a stigma around being fourth in every franchise. I think we’ve hit a home run with our first franchise and there’s a part of me that feels like it should go out the door, and pass the baton to the next lucky guy who brings this amazing character to life.”
However, in the same interview, he also highlighted that both he and Marvel specified that he will continue to maintain the role of the arachnid superhero.
“It is a collaborative process. The first meetings were about ‘Why would we do this again?’ And I think we found the reason to do it. I’m very, very happy with where we are creatively,” the actor said.
And you, what do you think of Tom Holland’s intentions of not appearing in Spider-man 4 to give the position to another young actor?
