A resident of Miloslavsky who posted videos endorsing Nazism on social networks faces a criminal penalty

In Miloslavsky, a criminal case has been initiated on the rehabilitation of Nazism. This was reported by the website of the regional investigative committee on May 12.

According to the investigation, the suspect, a resident of the working settlement of Miloslavskoye, born in 2001, posted on his page in one of the social networks videos expressing the denial of the facts established by the verdict of the International Military Tribunal for the trial and punishment of the main war criminals of the European Axis countries, containing approval of the crimes established the said judgment. After placement, these materials became available for viewing to an unlimited number of users.

Criminal actions were revealed by employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Ryazan Region. The Skopinsky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Ryazan Region opened a criminal case on the rehabilitation of Nazism (part 2 of article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The criminal investigation is currently ongoing. Sanctions Part 2 Art. Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for punishment up to imprisonment for up to five years.
