According to the head of Rospotrebnadzor, there is no need to introduce restrictions due to the incidence of influenza and SARS at the federal level. She also noted that all plans for the prevention of acute respiratory viral infections for the pre-epidemic and epidemic periods were drawn up in September. Now each subject imposes restrictions as necessary, transmits TASS.

As Anna Popova said, the influenza virus has been monitored for many years. At its peak, influenza virus accounts for 70-80% of all respiratory diseases. It is also known that now there is an increase in the incidence, and it will continue. For example, Moscow is currently overcoming the peak of the incidence, and the regions are in varying degrees of involvement in the epidemic process. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of yourself and wear a mask.

As before reported Uchitelskaya Gazeta online publication, Russian scientists are now working on a vaccine that will simultaneously help against both the flu and the coronavirus. A specially created Institute of Systems Biology and Medicine under Rospotrebnadzor is working on it. In 2022, this organization is one year old.
