Yesterday, May 11, a head-on collision of two cars took place on a highway in the Rostov region, as a result of which one person died and four more were injured of varying severity. Including a 10 year old girl.

According to the propaganda department of the regional UGIBDD, the accident occurred at about 5 o’clock in the morning at 38 km of the Shakhty-Razdorskaya highway in the Ust-Donetsk region. According to preliminary data, the 23-year-old driver did not choose a safe speed and, when turning, flew into the oncoming lane, where he crashed into a LADA Granta car driven by a 62-year-old driver.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the LADA Granta died at the scene. Injuries of varying severity were received by its passengers – a 58-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl, as well as the driver of the Hyundai car and his 23-year-old passenger. The police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
