DoctorINVITRO-Ural therapist Marina Konstantinova warned about the risk of congenital malformations in children whose mothers had the flu during pregnancy. URA.RU writes about it.
The expert shared the following information: “In the early stages, the virus is very dangerous for the unborn child. <…> The risk of developing congenital malformations in the fetus, miscarriage, premature birth, <…> fetal growth retardation is increasing.”
Earlier, the head of the Commission for Demography, Protection of the Family, Children and Traditional Family Values of the Civic Chamber of Russia, Sergei Rybalchenko, announced a proposal to raise the allowance for pregnant women to the subsistence level.
He noted that some couples register a marriage when they find out that they will soon have a child.
