The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation demonstrated the operation of the world’s largest mortar 2S4 “Tulip”. Russian troops do not give a chance to survive to any enemy, erasing the fortified areas of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into dust with a 240-mm gun.
Serial production of the 2S4 self-propelled mortar was launched back in 1972 in the Urals. The combat vehicle is a body made according to the original scheme without a turret, with an open installation of weapons. Tulips are used to eliminate forts, fortified structures, accumulations of military equipment, ammunition and manpower.
