Ministry of Energy USA announced plans to buy up to 3 million barrels oil in order to replenish the strategic reserves of the country. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
In a related statement, the department clarified that the Strategic Petroleum Reserve Management Office (SPRPMO) needs to purchase United States-produced sour crude oil.
According to the ministry, it is planned to purchase raw materials during February 2023. This will be the first such purchase to replenish US strategic stocks since President Joe Biden took office.
Earlier, the Public News Service reported that the decline income oil companies is a quite predictable trend in the context of the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian part of the industry.
