Assistant Secretary of State USA for European and Eurasian Affairs James O’Brien stated that the next few weeks will be decisive for a peace agreement between Armenia And Azerbaijan. This is reported by TASS.
He recalled that Baku And Yerevan met many times. According to O’Brien, the coming weeks will test the parties’ readiness to move from intentions to agreement. “Because as we know, yes is the hardest word to get in negotiations,” he said.
Formerly Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan notedthat the peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan can be considered 70 percent agreed if the Azerbaijani side confirms its commitment to previously reached agreements. The Armenian Prime Minister emphasized that this primarily relates to confirming the territorial integrity of the republic.
