Details. According to the publication, Ostanina proposed to introduce three new articles into the Criminal Code. The bill provides for punishment in the form of corrective or forced labor for up to two years, or arrest for up to four months, or imprisonment for up to two years.
For similar acts committed against minors, the punishment includes up to four years of forced labor or up to five years in prison.
At the same time, the first deputy head of the Duma Committee on Legislation, Irina Pankina statedthat “it is premature to think about criminalizing LGBT propaganda.”
