The State Department announced the need to withdraw Russian peacekeepers from Karabakh

Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O’Brien said that USA it is necessary to achieve the withdrawal of the Russian peacekeeping contingent from Karabakh. This is reported by RIA News.

“We need to get the Russian peacekeepers out at the end of their five-year contract,” he told a House committee.

In October, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin reportedthat formally Russian peacekeepers will remain in Nagorno-Karabakh until November 2025. He promised that he would soon discuss with his partners the issues of the presence of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
