AT USA The Simpsons Music Editor Chris Ledesma has died at the age of 65. The Variety reports this.

An episode of The Simpsons dedicated to Ledesma was aired, in which the cartoon characters Bart, Maggie and Lisa played in a musical group, and the cartoon Chris Ledesma held a conductor’s baton. “In memory of Chris Ledesma,” they wrote on the picture.

The musician has been working on The Simpsons since the very first season, which was released in 1989. Ledesma left the series last year. From early childhood, he showed a love for music, at the age of three he already played the piano and learned to play the trumpet.

Chris Ledesma got into editing as a student, then worked at Universal Studio Hollywood. He was nominated for two Emmy Awards for Gypsy and War and Remembrance.
