Military expert Alexei Leonkov spoke about the use of Russian tank support combat vehicles (BMPT) “Terminator” in the framework of special operations in Ukraine.
They are a universal weapon, effective for destroying enemy equipment and manpower, the analyst said in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper.
He drew attention to the fact that these vehicles are equipped with two 30-mm cannons and a package of anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).
According to Leonkov, the “Terminators” “proved themselves” well. “The machine is efficient and hard to resist. But this does not mean that the BMPT does not need to be modernized, ”he stressed.
The speaker suggested that changes are expected in the near future. Russian troops during a special military operation (NWO) continue to accumulate experience in the use of “Terminators”, he concluded.
Earlier, the Public News Service reported that the editor-in-chief of the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine Alexei Leonkov spoke about the problems of the European military-industrial complex (MIC) due to the conflict in Ukraine. He noted that Europe planned to limit itself to Soviet equipment and ammunition.
