The conflict in Ukraine has already escalated into “world war”and will not end in the near future. This was stated Pope Francis.
“Several parties are already involved in the war. It is global … There are many interests,” he said in an interview with a Spanish newspaper ABC.
The Pope stressed that the “cauldron of war” is kindled by several hands at once. In his opinion, a large-scale confrontation begins if one of the empires begins to weaken. Much is at stake, Francis noted.
The Pope emphasized that the President Vladimir Zelensky for the third time he sends one of his advisers to the pontiff.
