In 2023, the national championship “Professionals” for college students will be held in St. Petersburg, said the head of the Ministry of Education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov.
“We have quite serious results at the WorldSkills international championship, but given the current situation, we do not participate in it,” the minister said.
Sergey Kravtsov added that in Veliky Novgorod, in parallel with the national championship, a championship of high technologies in the field of secondary vocational education will be held.
“We see how much secondary vocational education is in demand today: more than 60% of ninth grade graduates go to colleges,” said the head of the Ministry of Education.
