Despite the rise in prices for tours for the upcoming New Year holidays, Russian travelers booked 54 percent more trips compared to the same period last year. This is reported by RIA News with reference to data from the travel search and booking service Travelata.
It is noted that users of the service are less likely to book holidays in five-star hotels, but more often pay attention to ultra-all-inclusive meals. “Vacators who decide to pay 250-300 thousand rubles for a trip for two obviously want to avoid additional expenses during the trip,” said Travelata Marketing Director Oleg Kozyrev.
