The press service of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in Moscow reminded about the observance of fire safety rules while in the bath.

The department noted that, first of all, a metal sheet measuring at least 50 by 70 cm should be present on the floor in front of the firebox, without burnouts and damage.

It is necessary to carefully monitor the coals and prevent them from falling out of the stove. It is better to heat the stove itself no more than two hours and no more than 2-3 times a day.

In addition, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that you should not leave children unattended near a flaming stove.

In addition, the department advised not to dry clothes, firewood or other things on or near stoves, as this can lead to ignition. There should be no furniture or other objects near the stove. They must be at least a meter away.

For ignition, flammable liquids should not be used and the temperature in the steam room should not exceed 110 degrees, the department specified. In conclusion, Muscovites were reminded of the importance of periodically pouring steamy water over wooden walls and ceilings.
