“The introduction of a total ban may lead to a slowdown in the development of digital platforms and solutions, which may ultimately adversely affect their competitiveness,” the ministries said.

At the same time, the department recalled that in order to introduce new digital services, it is important to attract the most talented personnel, including those who are currently in other countries.

At the same time, the Ministry of Digital Development proposed leaving the final decision on the format of the work of their employees to companies based on an analysis of the risks of remote work for administrators of critical applications.

Earlier, the Public News Service reported that the head of the leading Russian IT service company IBS, Grigory Kocharov, announced layoffs employees from “forbidden” countries.

According to him, the company introduced a special classification of countries, whose employees may or may not work remotely.
