The court found that a man in an apartment in a residential building on Polina Osipenko Street had a quarrel with his 34-year-old lover. The conflict arose due to personal hostility. Maklakov took a 15 centimeter long blade and struck the woman at least 247 times in the neck and body. She didn’t survive.
After this, the man attacked the police officers who arrived on call with threats.
Maklakov must pay a compensation of five million rubles to his friend’s relative.
About the crime stated neighbors who heard cries for help. The police who arrived on call broke down the door and found the entire apartment covered in blood.
Maklakov was arrested 6th January. The man had previously been convicted of causing grievous bodily harm.
