Presidential Press Secretary Russia Dmitry Peskov on Thursday, December 15, during a traditional briefing with journalists, he said that the memory of the heroes of the special operation on Ukraine must live with the Russians always.
“Of course, the memory of those who gave their lives, and the pride of those who continue to risk their lives in the course of implementing the JWO, is something that should live with us forever,” he said.
However, he noted that the proposal name one of the stations of the new metro line in Moscow in honor of the heroes of the SVO “entirely” is the prerogative of the city government.
Recall that on February 24, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, in his address to the citizens of the Russian Federation, announced the start of a military special operation in the Donbass. He stressed that Moscow’s plans do not include the occupation of Kyiv, but it will strive with all its might to demilitarize Ukraine.
