Russia already today needs to prepare for a big conflict, when the confrontation with the West will take on a large-scale character.
The consumption of ammunition in Kyiv is proceeding at a rapid pace, and the countries of the NATO alliance are not able to replenish them in full, the military-political expert noted Yakov Kedmi.
According to him, the West needs 2-3 years to pick up the pace of production of weapons and ammunition. Today, the gunsmiths of the Russian Federation have two main tasks – to provide weapons to the army, stock up on ammo in case of a serious conflict with the West.
“For a new war, it is necessary to prepare a large number of modern weapons. And the real war is already beyond the threshold,” the analyst said on the Rossiya 1 TV channel on the air of the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program.
In his opinion, the main goal of the US and Britain is not Ukraine. But the conclusion of a peace agreement with Kyiv now will deal a strong blow to Moscow’s prestige.
“The hostilities must be ended with the complete surrender of Kyiv,” summed up Kedmi.
