Zapir Alkhasov was appointed head of the department of the head of Dagestan for domestic policy and local self-government.
The decree on this was signed on Wednesday by the Head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov.
Previously, Alkhasov worked as deputy mayor of Makhachkala.
