The head of a Russian colony was suspected of corruption


IN Saratov region the head of one of the correctional institutions was suspected of corruption. The regional department reported this to Lenta.ru Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).

According to the department, from May to September the head of the colony received remuneration from a relative of the convicted person. For this he had to weaken the regime of detention of the prisoner. The bribe amounted to 420 thousand rubles.

In connection with the incident, a case was opened under paragraph “c” of Part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Receipt by an official personally of a bribe in the form of money on a large scale”). Investigators are now collecting evidence of what happened.

Previously became knownthat the Basmanny Court Moscow sent into custody the ex-head of the Khoroshevsky department of the Investigative Committee for the capital Rustam Yusupov in the case of a large bribe and the creation of a criminal community.
