The harvest in Pkazy will begin on the last Saturday of Lent under the name of Hanck n.

For each household, they meant the birth of his year-long effort. That is also why we would like to show children and adults the form of their traditions, as they are remembered, said Petr Vodeil, head of the Hanck Museum in Pkazy.

Visitors will not only see the actual harvest and threshing of grain, but they can try sowing with a special scythe for grain with a bow, take their own sheaf or thresh grain with a flail, Vodeil described.

On display will be the machines of the time that served the farm to process grain, including a functional historical thresher or a machine for cutting grain, the so-called blower.

There will also be music, Hanck songs will be performed by the Rovina male choir, and a tasting of regional specialties will be prepared throughout the day, added the head of the museum.

Hanck n will be held on Saturday 30th of erven from 10 am to 5 pm. Thematic blocks, which will always contain seeds, milk and other grains, start at 10:30, 13:00 and 14:30. Beneficiaries can find more information on their website pages of the museum.
