The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has developed a draft government decree that will allow Transneft to postpone the disclosure of information for the reporting periods of 2018-2023 until July 2024. The corresponding document appeared on the official website of the department.

It is assumed that the draft government decree on the specifics of information disclosure by natural monopoly entities providing transportation services oil and petroleum products via main pipelines, will reduce the risks of increased sanctions pressure. The authors of the project believe that greater secrecy regarding the activities of Transneft will minimize the corresponding risks, since it will make it difficult to impose sanctions restrictions.

Earlier it became known that despite the fact that the EU countries are making statements about the refusal of Russian oil supplies, Transneft has already received applications from Poland and Germany to pump oil through the Druzhba pipeline in 2023. This was announced by the head of the company, Nikolay Tokarev. More read in material Public news service.
