Rosvodresursy, with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, is opening the first “Water Alley” in Dagestan. The environmental and educational campaign starts on May 12 in Makhachkala on the site in front of the Avar Music and Drama Theater. Gamzat Tsadasa in the Rhodope square at 14:00. Guests of the event are expected daily from 12:00 to 22:00 until May 16.

The official ceremony will take place on May 13 at 15:00. The event will be opened by Director of the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the Field of Water Resources of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation Roman Minukhin, Head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Dagestan Ibragim Ibragimov, Advisor to the Head of Rosvodresursov and Head of the Center for the Development of the Water and Chemical Complex of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation Ilya Razbash.

“Regions of Russia traditionally warmly welcome the Water Alley environmental education campaign, it is becoming a bright holiday, a point of attraction for residents and guests of cities. This year we are setting up a site on the Caspian coast. The world’s largest enclosed body of water receives the great Volga, Terek, Sulak, Samur, which is of particular importance to us. We have already completed the scientific work on the study of the Agrakhan Bay of the Caspian Sea and use the results when planning events,” comments Dmitry Kirillov, head of Rosvodresursov.

All the days of the action, guests of Vodnaya Alley will have a VR cinema with 360o films, a concert and entertainment program, DJ sets, photo zones, installations, contests, drawings and gifts for the most active participants. Informative master classes, “School of superheroes of water” are organized for young visitors. Animators and face painting masters will work on the site.

Also during the action in Dagestan, the first major event of the All-Russian environmental action “Water of Russia” this year will be held. On May 14, volunteers are invited to clean up the banks of the Irganai reservoir. Anyone can join the cleaning, for this you need to register on the promotion website. Gifts will be given to the most active volunteers.
