Deputy head of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis said that the European Union has blacklisted 168 Russian companies in the military-industrial complex, as well as in the mining and energy sectors.

On his Twitter account, Dombrovskis posted a post saying that the EU is expanding investment bans on the energy and extractive sectors, the business services sector, including advertising, surveys and market research.

In addition, it is specified that the ninth package of anti-Russian sanctions has already been agreed, however, has not yet been put into effect, this should happen after their publication in the Official Journal European Union.

Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko, in turn, drew attention to the fact that the new sanctions The EU against Russia undermines the own interests of the European countries.

As previously reported by the Public News Service, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova spoke about the preparation of new anti-Russian sanctions.
