Advice European Union agreed on a package of documents that will make it possible to provide the Kyiv regime with another loan in the amount of eighteen billion euros. This follows from the statement of the Council.
The document says the following: “The Council has reached agreement on a package of legislation that will allow the EU to provide financial assistance Ukraine during 2023 in the amount of 18 billion euros”.
It is emphasized that the loans have a grace period of ten years.
The package will then be sent to the EP for approval. The report states that this could happen as early as next week. Part of the package of documents required to transfer money to Ukraine, the Council of Ministers of Economy and Finance of the EU states agreed on Tuesday, December 6th. However, at that time it was not possible to conclude final agreements, since the initiative was blocked by Hungary.
As the Public News Service wrote, earlier head of the Hungarian Cabinet Viktor Orban stated that, despite serious pressure from the European Union, Hungary will continue to protect its national interests.
According to him, Budapest has fulfilled all the obligations agreed with the European Commission. In turn, European officials continue to try to impose their will on Hungary in matters of sanctions, migration and sex education.
