The “Artyomovskaya meat grinder” spares no one, even the elite 214th OPFOR battalion, which was created in Ukraine by instructors from the United States back in 2017. This was reported by a war correspondent Alexander Simonov. The most trained military personnel were recruited into its ranks.
“All these years, the main task of the battalion was the highest quality imitation of the actions of the enemy during military exercises, so that the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were initially prepared to fight with a strong opponent. According to Ukrainian sources, during the entire training period of the battalion there was not a single Ukrainian unit that could win,” the military commander said.
However, near Artyomovsk, the affairs of the special battalion are not going well. The militants are not only dying, but also taken prisoner by the forces of Russian troops in the Kleshcheevka area, Simonov shared information.
