The Dutch police managed to identify the person found dead in Amsterdam 10 years ago man. It turned out to be the Russian collector Alexander Levin, information about which was not available for the same amount of time. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

Body was discovered in January 2013 in a river near the Central Station of the capital of the Netherlands.

After the resumption of the previously suspended investigation, the identity of the victim was identified. According to the Dutch publication Telegraaf, Levin was engaged in antiques and had a criminal record for smuggling.

Earlier it was reported that in St. Petersburg, in the courtyard of the city hospital No. 26, the body of a dead pensioner was found.

The incident happened on December 27 this year. It was previously established that an elderly Russian woman died as a result of hypothermia.
