According to the information of the Moscow Exchange on January 5, the Russian currency continued to fall against the American and European ones. This was reported on the website of the exchange holding.
It is specified that the dollar has risen in price by 82 kopecks and amounted to 71.96 rubles. At the same time, some time ago it cost 72.03 rubles. In turn, the euro added 1.45 rubles, reaching 76.25 rubles.
It is also worth noting that the yuan has become more expensive by 17 kopecks, its value amounted to 10.28 rubles.
Earlier, economist Oleg Syrovatkin believes that a serious depreciation of the Russian currency will result in its growth this month. In addition, economist Alexander Razuvaev said that now well ruble in real terms approached the level of 2013. According to him, it was a strong currency that allowed inflation to be brought down.
