The Commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Colonel General Sergei Karakaev, announced that the development of a new mobile strategic missile system will begin in Russian Federation next year. He stated this in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
It is noted that now the Strategic Missile Forces are armed with mobile missile systems “Yars”and” Poplar.
Karakaev shared the following information: “Next year, we are starting to develop a promising mobile-based missile system that will have greater mobility than the Yars PGRK, the possibility of prompt redeployment and launch from any area throughout the Russian Federation.”
As the Public News Service previously reported, the Russian Federation is preparing to use severe rockets “Yars”, capable of hitting both the UK and the USA – this was the statement made by the authors of the New York Post.
The Americans wrote that the Yars missile system has a power “12 times greater than the American bomb that destroyed Hiroshima.” In fact, the power of Yars is about 30 times greater.
